SATS Results

Our Standard Assessment Tests (SATs) results reflect our high academic standards.

SATs are taken in Years 2 and 6,  combined with Phonics in Year 1.  These tests enable staff to track the progress of individual children throughout their time at Thomas Reade School.

SATs Results for 2019

Key Stage Two Thresholds – percentage of children reaching the Expected Standard

Maths – School Achieved  77% against the National Average of 79%

Reading – School Achieved  80% against the National Average of 73%

Writing – School Achieved 87%  against the National Average of 78%

Grammar, punctuation and spelling – School achieved 83% against the National Average of 83%

Reading Writing and Maths – School Achieved 66% against the National Average of 65%

Key Stage Two Thresholds – percentage of children reaching the Higher Level of Attainment

Maths – School Achieved  20 %  against the National Average of    27%

Reading – School Achieved  23 % against the National Average of  27 %

Writing – School Achieved  30 %  against the National Average of   20 %

Grammar, punctuation and spelling – School achieved 40% against the National Average of 36%

Reading Writing and Maths – School Achieved 7% against the National Average of  11%
